Meet Dougie. This Beautiful boy is described as a dream. He is the perfect dog for every family.
He is an affectionate boy and loves to be around people soaking up all of the attention.
He is a very playful boy so don't be fooled by his age! He loves to wrestle and play tug of war. He loves his toys including a squeaky ball and has a rubber ring which he throws around for himself but his favourite is the family's draught excluder haha. He is an amazing boy with a great personality.
Dougie can live with Dog savvy children 10+ following sensible introductions. He loves the company of the teenagers in his current home and enjoys playing with them. 👧
Dougie can live with other dogs with sensible introductions. He currently shares his home with another elderly dog who he loves and he is very gentle with her. 🐕
Dougie cannot live with cats 🐱
Dougie wears a harness, lead and sliplead on walks. He walks well on the lead and doesn't pull. He enjoys his walks very much and would like a family who can enjoy walks with him.
Dougie is toilet trained and will put his paws on the back door when he needs to go out.
Dougie is not crate trained.
Dougie has not been left in his current home however has previously been left for long periods of time with no issues.
Dougie can be nervous in the car.
