Meet Lenni, Lenni is a young active dog who needs lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Previous experience with a strong, large breed dog would be helpful. He is a gorgeous boy and loves fuss and cuddles but needs routine and clear boundaries 💞

Lenni is very good around other dogs and enjoys playing, he has never shared his home with another dog but has stayed for 3 weeks at a family members home who had dog. For this reason he can share his home with other dogs with sensible introductions

🐾

Lenni will chase cats within the garden, however, he does ignore them on walks. He does also like to chase flies, butterflies and birds. Lenni would therefore need a cat free home with no small furries 🐈

Lenni currently shares his home with children aged 6+ who he enjoys playing with, however, due to his size and unpredictability around them it is felt that he would prefer an adult only home or a home with older teenagers with slow and sensible introductions 15+ 👶

Lenni accepts a collar, harness and lead and is great while on his walks. Due to Lenni's size, breed and temperament he will need a rural home experienced with Large Breeds and also a very active home who can take him on lots of long walks and keep him mentally stimulated 🦮

Lenni is toilet trained but is not crate trained. He has been left alone during the day with no issues and sleeps well overnight and travels well in the car. Lenni can be protective of the alleyway at the rear of his home which has occurred recently after he began spending extensive time within the garden, this can cause him to bark at noises and people. Lenny is however not bothered about noise or people walking past the remainder vicinity of the house 💞

Lenni can display guarding behaviours around the sofa, food and high value resources, which on occasion has caused him to growl and nip. Lenni would therefore need to be placed in an experienced home that has dealt with reactive, large breed dogs previously to help him overcome this.

Lenni's owner has said the following:

“He loves attention and fuss. He doesn't like his paws being touched and hoovers. He loves being outside and having cuddles and lots of exercise”
