Meet Lily, “Lily likes everyone and is very much a people pup, loving any opportunity for a fuss and a tummy tickle (…if you're honoured enough for her to present her tummy to you). She's very pretty and loves to be told that. She instinctively knows to be even more gently around older, less stable people and very young children” 💞
Lily has been around Children aged from 2 years old upward and is very good with them. However, if they are waving food or snacks around rather than just eating them, she may mistake that as being offered and pinch the food. She can therefore share her home with children aged 10+ following sensible introductions 👶
Lily lives with dogs in her current home and enjoys running around in the garden with them. She is very submissive and could live in a pet free home or a home with another calm confident dog to help her build her confidence. “Lily makes play noises that can be quite loud and sound like she's constantly growling or snarling, but it's just her - play with sound effects. Some mistake this for aggression but I think it's her way of laughing and giggling. If we arrange to meet a friend for a play date, Lily is perfect with their dog and plays with enthusiasm” 🐾
Lily has shared her home with cats in the past but was prone to chasing them. She would therefore need a cat free home 🐈
Lily can be walked via lurcher collar and lead. She only pulls slightly out of excitement at the start of a walk and settles down shortly after. “She is great. Once settled she walks at the pace of the others and me. She more of less ignores distant dogs and cats and will pass politely those who are closer” 🦮
Lily is fully toilet and crate trained and she sleeps well overnight. She has previously been left alone for up to 5 hours. Lily has been known to de-stuff a cuddly and cannot resist stealing the odd toilet roll (…and decorating the lounge). She travels well in a car as she knows that she’s going on an adventure 💞
