Meet Maisie, Maisie absolutely loves cuddles and being near to you. She is a gentle dog and will follow you everywhere. She loves playing with her toys and playing fetch with her ball. She absolutely loves carrots and as soon as her favourite human comes in from work, she runs to the fridge waiting for one. She loves going on long walks but she doesn't like being left on her own and likes to be around people all the time. If she's just out in the garden she will come in every now and again to check in with you. She likes people watching so if there's a window she will sit in the window and look out. Maisie knows basic commands like sit, lie down, she will give you her paw and will go to another room when asked. Her current family have said “She is just a beautiful dog and whoever gets to be her new family will be very lucky” 💞
Maisie currently lives with other dogs and is really good with the pups in the home and constantly plays with them. She loves running up and down and playing with toys with them 🐾
Maisie has not been around cats in her current home. She has seen one in the street but just barked at it. She could therefore share her home with dog savvy cats after slow and sensible introductions 🐈
Maisie previously lived with young children before moving to her current home and got on well with them. She could therefore share her home with sensible, dog savvy children aged 8+, after slow and sensible introductions 👶
Maisie accepts a collar, lead and harness. She always has her collar on and when she knows she's going for a walk she will go and sit by the front door waiting. She will patiently wait whilst you put her harness and lead on. Maisie does walk well on the lead but can pull at times. She will sit at the road when told and wait until you tell her she can cross. She likes birds and squirrels so you have to have your eyes peeled, as she will try to run to them if you're not careful 🦮
Maisie is toilet trained but not crate trained. Maisie can be destructive when left alone. She will need a safe space and continued work on this in her new home. Therefore, Maisie would benefit from a home where there is someone around most of the time 💞
Maisie travels well in the car 🚗
