Location: Foster home in Torquay

❤️ Peanut has ears that go on for miles! She is a striking young dog who has been in her foster home, from our Romanian shelter, for the last month. She is settling in beautifully.

Peanut is curious about the world but can be a little nervous and unsure which is understandable considering she has never lived in a home before. She tends to bark and hide when visitors arrive but she can’t stay away too long as she is very interested in her surroundings.

Peanut enjoys going out on the lead and walks really well. She has vey quickly overcome her nervousness surrounding traffic and the unfamiliar things she encounters on her trips out. She is curious of people but will retreat if approached while still wagging her tail.

Peanut currently lives with three older children and is very affectionate and cuddly with them all. She can get a bit overwhelmed when they are all together but has never shown any aggression. She just removes herself and settles quickly somewhere out of the way.

Peanut is described by her foster carer as a “sweet dog. She is very nervous of people and new situations but there is not a bad bone in her body”.

Peanut is still very much a puppy, with associated puppy behaviours. She needs continued boundaries as she learns how to live in a home, and patience and understanding while as she navigates her new normal. She is a fast learner and is eager to please so she will certainly develop into a lovely family pet.❤️
