Meet The Team
We are very lucky to have such an amazing team that looks after our dogs and gives them everything they need. Come and meet them!
I started working at Our Safe Haven in July 2021. Animals have always been my passion, dogs especially. This is the first job I have had in rescue, however, I have been in boarding kennels for the last 6 years. I absolutely adore working alongside all of the dogs at Our Safe Haven, and most importantly seeing them go to their forever homes! I have 2 border collies of my own, Paddy & Dylan.

Hi, my name is Emma I have previously worked in a boarding kennels and I have the pleasure to work here at OSH as of may 2023, It has always been my dream to work at a rescue. I have always had a passion for dogs, always growing up with them. I have a Labrador called Benson, and 2 rescues Tilly who I have spent the past 6 years with and Boo who is from the kennels here at OSH.

Hi , my name is Jasmine I’m 24 from Nantwich.I have been working at OSH since May 2023. I have a level 2/3 animal welfare and behaviour diploma and I have been a dog walker for the past 5 years. It has always been a passion of mine to help dogs find their forever home.

Hi, my name is Katie. I'm 21. I've been working at OSH since August 2023. I hold my diploma in animal management and have previously worked in a kennels. I've adored animals ; dogs specifically ever since I was small. Watching rescue shows at a very young age made me decide that helping dogs in need is what I want to do. There's something beautiful about giving these pups the love and patience that they need to become the best versions of themselves.

Hi, I'm Alex. I have an Irish rescue called Dizzy and my own Romanian rescue from OSH, Nova. I've been working at OSH since August 2023 and absolutely love it. I have my level 3 diploma in Canine behaviour, welfare and management. This is my first job at a rescue centre and its even more rewarding than I would have imagined. Nothing compares to seeing the dogs grow in confidence and find their forever homes.

Hi, I'm Kelda, I have worked at OSH since March 2024 and I absolutely love my job, the dogs are amazing and the rest of the team are so great to work with. What I love most about my job is being able to work with the dogs that are a little more challenging and haven't had a great start in life and being bale to show them that people can be kind and loving and they don't have to be fearful of us.

Hi, I'm Beth the new Kennel Manager here at OSH. I've been here since August 2024. I'm super excited to be getting stuck into the role. I have been volunteering for the charity for about 2 and a half years prior to starting this role working on the systems, transport, applications, home checks and I'm also the home check manager. I have experienced nearly all aspects of the charity. I'm also hoping to engage more with the community and increase our presence in the Crewe and Nantwich area.
