❤️Aria is a cuddler. She will snuggle up on the sofa and flop onto you for belly rubs, and she follows her favourite people around for strokes and affection. She is described as chilled, loving and a gentle soul. She can be nervous with new people though and keeps her distance until she is sure they are safe, then comes over to sniff them out. She picks her own safe space and relaxes there until she wants love or play. She is looking for a new home through no fault of her own.

Aria is very smart and likely able to train to a high level. She loves her food and will eat more than she needs so her meals will need to be regulated.

Aria is confident on the lead. She can pull but does stop when you stop and really enjoys being outside and sniffing around. Nothing really fazes her, she can sometimes bark at other dogs but it’s felt that this is the influence of the other dog she is walked with who is much more reactive.

Aria has lived with children aged 5 and 9. She enjoys them, but she needs space. She growls when she wants it, although she is not aggressive at all. She would be happiest with slightly older children who understand giving a dog some space.

Aria enjoys the company of another dog but does not need one. She would suit a dog who will not constantly pester her. She has set boundaries with the other resident dog by growling for space. Aria guards high-value items like bones and chews. She growls if another dog looks at them and buries them around the home. Her new family will need to manage this.

Aria is looking for a new home as unfortunately the resident dog loves playing with her but has snapped at her twice. Aria did not snap back. She was submissive and docile. Her owner is worried Aria could be hurt when no one is home.

Aria would suit a wide variety of homes and she has settled very well in her current home. If you are looking for a shadow who loves nothing more than a walk and an evening on the sofa, then look no further, Aria is your soulmate!❤️
