Astor is a sweet, gentle dog currently in East Sussex 🗺

Astor gets on well with other dogs and would benefit from living with calm, friendly resident dog(s), ideally smaller dogs, who can help build her confidence. She is also happy around cats and is fully toilet trained, crate trained, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Astor's new family will need to understand that she is a very nervous girl. She finds unfamiliar people, particularly men, and busy environments frightening and can become overwhelmed by new situations. Because of this, she is looking for a quiet, adult-only home where she can continue to grow in confidence at her own pace.

She enjoys her walks but needs patient handling and reassurance as she can be worried by unfamiliar people and surroundings. Car travel is also something she is still working on, as she currently finds journeys stressful.
