❤️ Betty is the bravest girl. The world is scary for her but she tries her very best to overcome her nervousness. She has settled in well in her foster home but she is still very apprehensive and needs a lot of love and encouragement.

Betty has the sweetest nature. She is inquisitive and friendly when visitors arrive but isn’t quite brave enough to make the first move. She does approach eventually for a little sniff and a stroke.

Betty is a star on the lead. She walks well and readily accepts a collar and harness. She loves being outside but startles easily and is on high alert. Even though noise and sudden movements worry her, this doesn’t manifest as aggression at all.

Betty does not need to live with another dog but it may be beneficial for her to have a calm, confident dog to help her realise that she is in safe place. She does take comfort in the resident dog in her current foster home.

Betty hasn’t lived with children but her loving personality would be suited to children who are not boisterous and understand that loud noises and sudden movements make her feel unsure.

Betty really wants to get involved in all aspects of family life, she just isn’t quite brave enough. She needs an individual or family who understand this and are willing to work with her to help her overcome her fears. You will be rewarded tenfold as her loving nature starts to shine through.❤️
