Meet beautiful 1 year old Ellie

Ellie was found on the streets of Romania as a very young puppy and has come a long way since then. She is now microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, and has no known health issues. Sadly, due to her adopters change in circumstances she's found herself looking for a fresh start, this is no reflection on Ellie.

🗺 Based in Wiltshire, transport can be arranged.

Ellie has proven herself loving, friendly, and entertaining companion. She is a large girl, weighing around 32kg, with long legs and plenty of energy to match!

• Friendly and affectionate with people

• Happy to greet visitors and enjoys attention

• Sociable with dogs she meets on walks and visiting dogs

• Has met children and has been gentle and friendly, though we recommend a home with older children due to her size

• Has met cats and shown curiosity rather than any desire to chase, so could potentially live with dog-savvy cats

• Travels well in the car

• Enjoys enrichment toys, especially lick mats

🚶‍♀️ Exercise & Training

Ellie loves her walks and is currently walked twice daily. She can pull on the lead at times but has some recall and will happily return for a tasty treat. As a young dog, she will thrive in an active home that can continue her training and provide plenty of physical and mental stimulation.

🏡 Things to Consider

• Not fully toilet trained and currently uses puppy pads indoors

• Can be mischievous if given the opportunity and may help herself to items left within reach

• Has shown some separation anxiety and will need her confidence built up gradually when left alone

• Can be protective of her food around other dogs, so would need to be fed separately

💖 Ellie is described by her current owner as a "fantastic pup and such a character." She gets on well with people and dogs and simply needs a family who can give her the time, exercise, consistency, and love that every young dog deserves.
