❤️ Lola is a beautiful little girl who has been in foster care for some time, and while she has made some lovely progress, she is still a nervous girl who needs life to be taken at her pace.

The scars on Lola's face are a heartbreaking reminder of her past. They were caused by hot water being thrown over her while she was living on the streets. She originally moved to our kennels before she was offered a lovely chance in a foster home ❤️‍🩹

Despite everything she has experienced, Lola is a loving girl who adores cuddles and affection. She can become overwhelmed by fast movements, loud noises and unfamiliar situations, and visitors entering her home can make her anxious.

Her foster family have worked incredibly hard with her, and Lola is now able to settle in her bed when visitors arrive. She is also much happier around the other dogs in the home.

Lola enjoys her walks, although she may sometimes need encouragement to leave her safe space. She travels well in the car once settled, is toilet trained, non-destructive and can be left for short periods.

Lola could potentially live as an only dog or with one calm resident dog. She cannot live with cats due to her prey drive towards them, and an adult-only home is recommended. ❤️
