Meet Riley, Riley loves playing with her toys and has become a little obsessed with her new frisbee 😍 she loves belly rubs and spending time with her favourite people. Riley’s owners have said “she is an incredibly loving dog and wants to be with you all the time and have your attention and affection. She wants to please. She’s very bright and picks up her training very quickly” 💞
Riley can be unpredictable around new people and other dogs. Riley sometimes gets overexcited and struggles to regulate her emotions and it can at times push over into aggression. Riley also has a high prey drive. For this reason, Riley will need a pet free and adult only home. Riley’s family are working on her reactivity training with a dog trainer. The trainer would be happy to continue this training in Riley’s new home, if wanted 🐾
Riley’s walking on a lead has improved greatly in her current home and she knows a good number of commands and responds very well to them. On her halti she walks well on a loose lead. Her family have said “Riley should ideally be walked where there is not too much going on so that she can focus on what she’s being asked and that there are not too many other distractions” 🦮
Riley is toilet and crate trained. Riley prefers her family to be around most of the time and can cry when left alone. Riley would therefore benefit from a home where there is always someone around 💞
