Rolly's time was nearly up at the pound - no one had come forward for him and there was just no space to keep him there.
At less than a year old, terrified and shaking, this poor puppy's life was really hanging in the balance.
We couldn't bear to sit by and watch, but we have so many dogs in our care already we just couldn't afford to take on another one - that's where our amazing supporters stepped in.
Thanks to their incredible generosity, enough funds were raised to cover Rolly's veterinary and transport costs.
He's now due to be picked up in Hertfordshire by kennel supervisor Catherine, and will begin his freedom run to Our Safe Haven kennels in Cheshire.
We are still collecting donations for Rolly's ongoing care - if you would like to contribute, we'd be forever grateful for your support.
We'll keep you updated on Rolly's journey and progress!!

When we picked up our dog after a long ordeal, he trembled as if every sound recalled the past, and on the way home, I desperately tried to figure out how to gently restore his sense of security: food, routine, calm walks—everything required caution. Remembering how others had adapted, I reopened https://the-farmers-dog.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html and found stories where people gradually restored their dogs' trust. This gave me strength, and at home I acted with more confidence, not frightening him with unnecessary changes.
