❤️Sable began her journey as a very nervous young girl, quietly sitting at the back of her pen while the other dogs played. She didn’t feel brave enough to join in, but with patience, kindness, and time, she has blossomed into a happy, playful dog who is now ready to find her forever home. She will still need someone who understands that she may take a little time to fully settle.

Sable is shy by nature, but once she trusts you, she absolutely loves being fussed over and becomes wonderfully affectionate. Sable gets along beautifully with other dogs and would benefit from living with a confident resident dog who can help guide her, following slow and gentle introductions. She walks nicely on a lead and enjoys exploring her surroundings, though she’ll need a bit more training as her confidence continues to grow. She hasn’t met children or cats yet, but these introductions can be arranged.

What matters most is that her new family is patient and understanding, because Sable has already come such a long way from the frightened pup she once was. Still very young, with her whole life ahead of her, Sable is longing for a family she can finally call her own.
