Settling a new rescue dog? 6 tips to prevent an escape

victoriap127

Romanian dogs are notorious escape artists and settling a new rescue can be stressful in the first few weeks while they're getting used to their new environment.

Our adoption team have put together a helpful list of six safety rules to prevent lost dog situations for new adopters and fosterers.

Following these steps rigidly while your rescue dog is getting settled will help ensure that your dog stays safe and keep stress levels to a minimum as you enjoy getting to know one another.

If you're unsure about any of these steps or have a question about your new dog's behaviour, your admin is the best point of contact.
