❤️ Sprite is a beautiful young girl who shares the same striking Alsatian and Podenco looks as Soda. With her elegant features, adorable Podenco-style ears, and sweet nature, she’s a pup who is impossible not to fall in love with.
Sprite is a gentle and affectionate girl who approaches life with kindness and curiosity. While she was a little unsure when first introduced to new experiences, she quickly gained confidence and did exceptionally well in her lead assessment. Once she relaxed, her love of running really shone through, and she looked happiest when stretching her legs and enjoying the freedom to move.
Because of this, we think Sprite could be a wonderful match for an active home. Whether it's long walks, hiking adventures, or even joining her owner on a jog, Sprite would love a family who can enjoy the great outdoors with her while continuing to build her confidence and skills.
As with any rescue dog, Sprite will need time to settle into her new home and adjust to her new surroundings. With patience, reassurance, and positive training, we are confident she will flourish and become an incredible companion.
Sprite gets on well with other dogs and could happily share her home with a friendly canine companion following sensible introductions. She has also met children and was incredibly gentle and well-mannered, making her a lovely family prospect.
Sprite is a sweet soul with so much love to give. She's simply waiting for someone to see how special she is and offer her the forever home she deserves.

It's encouraging that Sprite did so well in her lead assessment once she relaxed, since that confidence-building process matters so much for young rescues. I'm curious whether her apparent Alsatian and Podenco mix suggests specific exercise or mental stimulation needs beyond the general active-home recommendation. Also, since she hasn't met cats, would a home with small animals need extra caution during introductions? Her gentle nature with children sounds promising, and I hope the right active family finds her soon.
