Thank you to our amazing volunteers!

On Volunteer Week, we’d like to say a very big THANK YOU to our incredible team of more than 140 volunteers who keep our charity running.

From processing our adoption applications, to arranging home checks, to raising vital funds through our Auction, Outlet, and Tombola groups, our amazing volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that our charity stays afloat.

Thanks to their hard work, we managed to rehome 477 animals last year, including more than 200 dogs from Our Safe Haven, our Cheshire kennels.

Many of our volunteers have made friends for life through their work at the charity and those who have been to Romania to visit our rescuers and their shelters say that it is a life changing experience.

Are you looking for a challenge? A purpose? An opportunity to make new friends? We have a huge variety of volunteer roles available, most of which can be done remotely from your own home. Full training is provided.

Current opportunities include:

Transport team. Help keep our adopters updated on the progress of their new family members as they travel to the UK. You need to be Excel competent and IT literate.

Time commitment: Around 2 hrs a week, but this does not have to be all in one go.

Social media team. Help us reach a wider audience so we can get more dogs into loving homes! Do you have experience creating content for one of the social media platforms? Are you an expert on FB’s mysterious algorithms? We are looking for social-media savvy volunteers with some level of professional or previous volunteer experience.

Time commitment: At least 5 hours a week, flexible hours

Web content team. Are you familiar with Wix? Do you have blog writing experience? Are you a dog trainer, veterinary nurse, or dog behaviourist who can help us create some useful content for our adopters? We would love some help keeping our web content updated and optimising our current platform to boost our Google rankings.

Time commitment: At least 5 hours a week, flexible hours

Ebay: Can you help list items on eBay to help us raise vital funds for the dogs in our care? No experience required, full training given.

Time commitment: Flexible
