💙 Chaz is a lovely old boy who is looking for a retirement home. His eyes tell the story of a life that has been hard for him. We believe he was kept tied up guarding a yard, this was his duty, not really a loving home, he was then cast aside when he got too old, still bearing the marks on his neck from the collar that probably never came off.

Chaz, now in our care has shown nothing but kindness and that, guarding was not for him, he is a very gentle, calm old man who is happy to be fussed over by everyone he meets, he will sometimes give you a kiss as if to say, thank you for saving me. He gets on well with other dogs, so could live with them following slow introductions, but probably not dogs too young and bouncy.

Chaz likes going for walks and accepts a lead, he walks beautifully on it, he does like the occasional sniff around. Chaz does not ask for much, just a nice warm place to sleep, some food and kind hands to stoke him. Chaz is in good health and spirit will make a great companion, all he really just wants to do is put his feet up and relax. Adopting an older dog is so rewarding, and they are forever grateful for your love. Could you be the one to see past his age and offer old man Chaz the home he never really had ? 💙
