💙 Duke hasn’t been with us for very long, but it’s already clear that this lovely boy needs to find his forever home. He is blind in one eye and partially sighted in the other, and although we don’t know what happened to him, the world can feel a little overwhelming at times.

Despite this, Duke is an incredibly sweet, calm dog who leans into you for reassurance. He loves fuss and attention and is wonderfully gentle around children. What he needs most is someone patient, someone who will help build his confidence and show him that he’s safe.

Duke gets on very well with other dogs and gains a lot of confidence from them. It would likely benefit him to live with a calm, confident resident dog who can help guide him, following slow introductions, although this isn’t essential. He enjoys spending time outside his kennel and accepts a lead.

Duke walks very nicely, only stopping for a good sniff as he explores his surroundings. He hasn’t met cats yet, but this can be arranged upon request. This lovely boy will make a deeply loyal and loving companion.

He just needs someone willing to let him settle at his own pace and help him realise that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. Could you offer Duke his ticket out of shelter life and into the loving home he’s been waiting for ?
