💙 Fuogo has been with us for a very long time. Once untouchable and terrified of everything, he has come such a long way. With patience, kindness, and steady support, he is now in a much better place and ready to find a forever home of his own. He will need a patient, understanding family, as it takes him a little time to feel comfortable with new people and situations.

But once Fuogo trusts you, his true personality shines through and he won’t want to leave your side. He is loyal, gentle, and quietly affectionate. Fuogo gets on very well with other dogs and gains a lot of confidence from them. It would likely benefit him to live with a calm, confident resident dog who can help guide him, following slow introductions, although this isn’t essential.

He enjoys spending time outside his kennel and accepts a lead, though he will need further training as this is still new to him. Fuogo hasn’t met children or cats yet, but these introductions can be arranged upon request.

This lovely boy will make a deeply loyal and loving companion, he just needs someone willing to let him settle at his own pace and show him that the world isn’t such a scary place. Could you offer Fuogo his ticket out of shelter life and into the loving home he’s been waiting for? 💙
