💙 Stanley has a bit of an unknown history, he is sensitive to raised hands and raised voices. He has moved through a few homes and unfortunately is looking for his forever home again. He is a UK intake dog so has not originated from Romania. He is a mostly well-behaved, loveable little boy. He is a lover not a fighter (with a large caveat, more on that later!), but he loves with the energy of a punch from Mike Tyson.
Stanley loves people, including children although older children would be more suitable as he jumps up relentlessly to say hello. There is no malice or aggression in him but he is a lot and all of it is muscle.
Stanley has a very strong prey drive, if he sees a cat or a bird he will attempt to pursue it relentlessly, if he has previously seen a bird/cat/small mammal in a particular spot he will keep checking, if he thinks there may be ne in the vicinity, he will not be distracted. Unfortunately, this is the reason why he is looking for a new home as he also shares his current home with the lunch… sorry a bird!
Stanley walks beautifully on the lead, doesn’t react to external stimuli aside from saying hello to other dogs (and constantly surveying for cats).
Stanley is described as “ a lovely boy, extremely energetic, playful and people orientated”. He would be suitable for a wide variety of families/individuals who would like a 21kg lapdog that wants to lick you to death. He is clean and quiet around the house, sleeps well and can be left for short periods with no issues. He is an absolutely gorgeous boy that any bird and cat averse household would be lucky to have!💙
