Meet Teddy, Teddy is a very sweet natured boy when you get to know him, he loves a cuddle, playing with his ball and treats. Teddy is super clever and learns things quickly, he just needs someone who has the patience and experience to try and help him overcome his fears so that he can enjoy life a bit more.

Teddy does not live with dogs and can be nervous of other dogs outside the home. On lead he can be fear reactive however off lead he is happy to play and be around other dogs if they are calm and respectful with him. Due to this, Teddy would prefer a home without another dog however another calmer dog could be considered in the right home.

Teddy has lived with children but is not comfortable and can be fear reactive with other children that he meets. Due to this it is felt he should not live with children.

Teddy lived with a cat when he was first adopted, however he was reactive to it and would attempt to chase it. He cannot therefore live with cats or small furries.

Teddy accepts a collar, harness and lead. He can be nervous on the lead and can be reactive with dogs whilst on a lead. He will generally ignore people as long as they ignore him. However, in quiet locations Teddy loves to play fetch on a walk. His recall when off lead is really good - he loves to run around and stretch his legs but he won’t go far and will come back and happily put his lead back on when asked.

Teddy is toilet trained and will tell you when he wants to go out. He is not crate trained. He has never been destructive and is very good when left alone and can be left for long periods – occasionally up to 6hrs. He also travels very well in the car and is always excited to get in and needs no encouragement! He has never had travel sickness and will happily sit in the boot of the car and watch the world go by. He is great overnight and sleeps through the night quietly.
