💙 Utong has been with us for most of his life, and now he’s finally ready to find someone who will be patient, kind, and willing to show him the love he’s been missing. He’s a shy boy who takes a little longer to trust, but once he comes out of his shell, you can see just how much potential he has to become a truly wonderful family pet.

Utong enjoys being fussed over by his favourite people. When he feels nervous, he quietly retreats rather than growling or barking, he’s a gentle soul through and through.

A few tasty treats and a soft voice go a long way with him. He gets on very well with other dogs and gains a lot of confidence from them. It would likely benefit him to live with a calm, confident resident dog who can help guide him, following slow introductions, although this isn’t essential.

Utong enjoys spending time outside his kennel and accepts a lead, though he will need further training as he continues to build confidence. He loves a good sniff and exploring his surroundings at his own pace. This lovely boy will make a deeply loyal and loving companion.

He just needs someone willing to let him settle slowly and show him that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. Could you offer Utong his ticket out of shelter life and into the loving home he’s been waiting for?💙
